Abstract:
In order to understand the basic biological characteristics of mungbean thaumatin-like protein (TLP) family on the genomic level,this study analyzed and identified gene structure and phylogenesis of 34 mungbean TLP family members through genome database and bioinformatics method.The results showed that the TLP gene structure classified into four types,TLP genes distributed on nine of eleven chromosomes,phylogenesis analysis showed that mungbean TLP family proteins classified into ten evolutionary groups.Most members of group sixth and seventh mainly derived from chromosome eleven.Analysis revealed mungbean TLP family genes preference A or T as the third codon,but generally codon usage bias was not strong.Most of genes belonged to the low expression genes,and affected by mutation and positive selection pressure.This study laid a foundation for cloning of TLP genes and further functional dissection in antifungal activity.
