Abstract:
Two kinds of leaf beets were used as materials.The effect of different concentrations of formaldehyde stress on leaf beet′s physiological indicators in order to supply references for ornamental vegetables.The results showed that leaf beet could grow up with 0.13 mg?m-3 formaldehyde environment.But this concentration was slightly higher than the national standard of formaldehyde content (0.08 mg?m-3).The ability to fight formaldehyde of red leaves beet was stronger than yellow leaves beet,and the former purification efficiency and activity of protective enzyme were higher than the latter.The efficiency of formaldehyde purification of leaf beet increased with the increase of formaldehyde concentration,but the growth rate was slow gradually.
