Abstract:
The experiment was conducted with ‘M9-T337’ and ‘M26’ as the self-rooted rootstock and interstock,rootstock for M.micromalus,the scion variety for ‘Fuji’ and ‘Gala’,compared with effects of different stock-scion combinations on apple growth,fruit quality and yield.The results showed,the stock-scion combinations of self-rooted rootstock and interstock of the tree height were dwarfism,the proportion of middle and short branches more than standard stock,and the proportion of short branches of self-rooted rootstock more than interstock.The cultivars ‘Fuji’of evaluation and sorting of fruit quality ‘Fuji/M9-T337’ /‘M.micromalus>Fuji/M9-T337’> ‘Fuji/M26/M.micromalus ’>‘Fuji/M26’>‘Fuji/M.micromalus’.The cultivars ‘Gala’ of evaluation and sorting of fruit quality as follow,‘Gala/M26’/‘M.micromalus’>‘Gala/M9-T337’/‘M.micromalus’>‘Gala/M9-T337’>‘Gala/M26’>‘Gala’/‘M.micromalus’.The ‘Fuji’ and ‘Gala’ of all stock-scion combinations of yield performance,self-rooted rootstock>interstock>standard stock,and ‘Fuji/M9-T337’ and ‘Gala/M9-T337’ five years cumulative production were highest than else.After comprehensive analysis,it was found the ‘Fuji/M9-T337’ and ‘Gala/M9-T337’ stock-scion combinations had the best performance in Qianyang area of Shaanxi Province,which was suitable for vigorous development.
