Abstract:: In order to analyze the operation condition of urban and rural residents basic endowment insurance in China,a performance evaluation model was constructed by using data envelopment analysis (DEA),makes a comprehensive evaluation of the basic old-age insurance of urban and rural residents in different provinces in 2014.The results showed that：China′s urban and rural residents basic endowment insurance as a whole running status is poorer,only three areas to realize the rational allocation of resources,the remaining 28 areas there is a waste of resources phenomenon,the differences between the regions,and uneven development.This suggestion related local government should increase the attention of the basic old-age insurance for urban and rural residents；paying attention to the urban and rural residents in different area differences on the performance of the basic endowment insurance and learn experience.A reasonable guide the resources of input and output in order to improve operation efficiency.
