Abstract:
Comprehensive evaluation on the application value of nine cultivars of Chaenomeles in Zhengzhou city was developed by using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP).Nine cultivars were appraised comprehensively by building the model,establishing matrixes of judgment and defining the standard of appraisal.The results showed that there were three cultivars at the first rank (>4.2);four cultivars at the rank of Ⅱ (4.0-4.2);and the number of the third rank (<4.0) was only two cultivars.Several cultivars suitable to cultivated in Zhengzhou with high ornamental values were recommended,such as C.×superba ‘Hongbaoshi’,C.×superba ‘Dafugui’,C.×superba ‘Lyubaoshi’.
