Abstract:
Plant color is one of the important elements of landscape gardening,however,main research on that from the angle of abstract art perspective,while color expression is difficult to accurately represent.In this study,the color of the Aquatic Categorized Plants Garden in Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Gardenthrough quantitative research methods of color was collected,using color science theory,and ameliorative suggestions was put forwarded according to calculated appropriate color range.The results showed that excluding similar color,106 sets of color data was collected,including 13 sets of complementary color,23 sets of contrast color,and 70 sets of adjacent colour.In all color data,there were 83 sets of similar color,accounting for 78.3%.Thus it could be seen,seasonal change of in the aquatic categorized plants garden,was obvious and the color matching was reasonable,generally.However,Iris Garden color was exiguity in autumn and winter,the plant color of Special Aquatic Botanical Garden was not abundant in spring,while the color in Sciophyte and Fern Garden was monotonous in four seasons.Combining the calculated data results of colour,we put forward the some recommendations in view of the above problems.Such as addition of color leafed shrub,colorful herbaceous plants and herbaceous plants in the Special Aquatic Garden.In the Sciophyte and Fern Garden,Iris Garden,the species of shrub layer should be enriched,perennial flowers and evergreen herbaceous plants should be planted to a higher degree,and the herbaceous plants proportion need to expand.
