Abstract:
Three different varieties of pepper were used as test materials.Water-controlled treatment(3,6,9 days) was conducted to study how different degrees of drought stress influenced certain physiological indexes of pepper seedling by potting plant method.The results indicated that with increasing of different drought stress levels,the contents of soluble sugar,free proline and MDA increased,whereas the contents of chlorophyll and soluble protein decreased.
