Abstract:
Clustering analysis of 12 agronomic characters and principal component analysis of 6 quantitative traits were carried on 57 peppers in this experiment.The test provided the basis for pepper resources classification and selection of parents by clustering analysis and principal component analysis.The results showed that 57 pepper varieties were divided into four classes by clustering analysis.Single pepper weight was the most important factor.The results of principal component analysis showed that the first three principal components values would represent the genetic characteristics of six agronomic characteristics.
