Abstract:
The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of Bacillus mucilaginosus agents on the germination rate and seedling growth of cucumber,tomato,eggplant and pepper seeds.The results showed that germination rate of cucumber,tomato,eggplant and pepper seeds with Bacillus mucilaginosus agents were 1.10,1.10,1.07 and 1.07 times of control.The root length of treatment group was increased by 3.76%,32.82%,1.50% and 15.70% respectively.In the treatment group,the dry weight of seedlings was increased by 36.36%,-12.82%,3.13%,16.67%,respectively.G value,the root shoot ratio had no significant difference with CK.In summary,Bacillus mucilaginosus agents could improve germination rate of four kinds of vegetable seeds,however,the effect of root growth of vegetable seedlings varied with different vegetable species.
