Abstract:
Tubers from Corydalis decumbens (Thunb.) Pers.were immersed in 0.00%,0.05%，0.10% and 0.20% colchicine solution with 2% DMSO for 24 hours，48 hours，72 hours,respectively.The effects of different concentrations of colchicine and different treatment time on chromosome doubling were studied.The results indicated that the better treatment was 0.20% colchicine solution for 24 hours with a doubling rate of 50.0% and a survival rate of 31.4%.Secondly for 0.10% colchicine solution for 24 hours，48 hours and 0.20% colchicine solution for 48 hours.The chromosome number of diploid Corydalis decumbens (Thunb.) Pers.was 2n=28 and that of tetraploid was 2n=56.
