Abstract:
L.barbarum var. implicatum used as test material,‘Ningqi No.5’ as control.By using spectrophotometry,Folin-Ciocalteu method,phenol-sulfuric acid colorimetry,four benzene boron sodium colorimetry,kjeldahl determination and 2,6-dichloro phenol indophenol titration total flavonoids,total polyphenols,crude polysaccharide,proteins,ascorbic acid,and potassium (K) in leaves,were measured,in order to evaluate nutritional quality of L.barbarum var. implicatum.The results indicated that no significant difference (P>0.05) was found in ascorbic acid content between L.barbarum var.implicatum and ‘Ningqi No.5’.The total flavonoids,total polyphenols,protein contents in leaves of L.barbarum var. implicatum were significantly higher than those in leaves of ‘Ningqi No.5’ (P0.05).And crude polysaccharide and K content were significantly higher in L.barbarum var.implicatum leaves than in ‘Ningqi No.5’leaves (P0.01).Compared with ‘Ningqi No.5’ leaves,the total flavonoids,total polyphenols,protein,crude polysaccharide,K content in L.barbarum var.implicatum leaves were higher by 2.97%,5.93%,6.42%,8.31% and 33.76%,respectively,but ascorbic acid content was lower by 32.34%.
