‘Lyuxiu’ is a new variety of welsh onion which is hybridization by ‘Yefu No.1’ and ‘Zhangqiu Dawutong’ for the parents.Its plant height is 110-120 cm with the scallion stalk of 45-55 cm.The trans diameter is 2.5-3.5 cm with 6-7 tubular blade.The leaves are dark green with a little lardaceous power.The single plant fresh weight is 0.28-0.75 kg.Its yield is over 5 500 kg per 667 m2.In addition，it has a lot of excellent features，such as strong heat-tolerance，high resistance to downy mildew,purple spot and virus disease，nice flavour，good quality，long shelf life and so on.It could be cultivated all the year round and suitable for growing in Henan and other surrounding provinces.
