Abstract:
Four-year-old ginseng and American ginseng with deforestation or ground planting pattern were used as materials.The total essential oils of ginseng and American ginseng extracted by steam distillation were compared and the ingredients was analyzed by GC-MS.The results showed that the total essential oils of 4-year-old ginseng and 4-year-old American ginseng in deforestation planted way (0.24% or 0.26%) were higher than ground planted way (0.21%or 0.25%).Two ways of planting ginseng volatile oil amount were significantly different (P <0.05)，American ginseng was not significantly different (P>0.05)，and the differences of the major simple substances were not obvious (P＞0.05).
