Abstract:
Five tulip varieties,‘AAFKE’,‘Eskimo Chief’ ect,were used as experimental materials to research the effect of cold storage on biological traits and the germination of F1 seeds.The results showed that with the extension of cold storage time for every two weeks,the full flowing date was correspondingly delayed for 10 days,and the growing stage also was shortened.However,there was almost no effect on biological characteristics,fruiting and germination rate of F1 seeds.The seed setting rate was related with the ploidy of parents.The seed setting rate of crossing between diploid cultivars was much higher than crossing between diploid and triploid cultivars.
