- Abstract:
- ‘Oriental Show’ cucumber variety was a generation of new cucumber variety,with the superior inbred line ‘101’ as the female，and inbred line‘102’ as the male.Plant growth was strong，the node of first female flower in the 4-5，melon about 34 cm in length，3.2 cm in diameter；single fruit weight was about 230 g；dark green melon，papilloma was dense，the flesh was crisp and sweet；vitamin C content was 167.7 mg?kg-1；it was resistant to downy mildew，powdery mildew and bacterial angular leaf spot disease；tolerance to low temperature and weak light，with high yield，more than 7 500 kg per 667 m2，suitable for early spring greenhouse or solar greenhouse cultivation in northern area of China and Henan Province.
