Abstract:
The America high speed luttuce was used as test materials,different concentration of Azotobacter chroococcum Beijerinck were added into the nutrient solution,the effects of solution on form indexes which were leaf number,leaf length,leaf width,stem diameter and yield,etc.and physiology indexes which were content of chlorophyll,amino acid and nitrate N were measured,in order to improve the yield and quality of lettuce.The results showed that the pH was decreased and the EC value was significantly lowed by adding the Azotobacter chroococcum Beijerinck into the nutrient solution which could contribute to the growth of lettuce in which the 300 times and 400 times were the best.The contents of chlorophyll was increased and the nitrate N was significantly increased in hydroponic lettuce by adding 400 times the concentration of Azotobacter chroococcum Beijerinck.The vitamin C content was increased by adding 500 times the concentration of Azotobacter chroococcum Beijerinck.
