Abstract:: Taking 11 different Ganoderma lucidum strains as experimental materials,the biological characters were studied by fruiting comparative test on the index of strains biological efficiency,the color and size of pileus,the length of stipe and thickness,to sreen out excellent production strains for middle and south area of Hebei Province.The results showed that ‘Japan Ganoderma’ and ‘Chuanzhi 4’ both had large fruitbody and the pileus which was large and thick.The Ganoderma grew neatly，and the rate of biological conversion was very high.‘Meizhi’ had good resistance and high yield Ganoderma spores powder.‘Nanhan 3’ not only had a shorter primordium formation period and much more regeneration than others，but also its fruitbody was tidy and the size of pileus was well situated，so it could be used in the production of Ganoderma bonsai.These four strains were suitable to cultivate in central-south Hebei Province.
