Abstract:
The leaves of Limonium franchetii were used as the explants and cultured in MS media with different portions of hormone to induce plant regeneration.The results showed that the explants sterilizing with 75% alcohol for 10 seconds and 0.1% HgCl2 for 8 minutes yielded good results.The optimal medium for leaf dedifferentiation and clump bud induction was MS+BA 1.0 mg/L+NAA 1.0 mg/L,while the preferable medium for the plantlets rapid propagation was MS+BA 0.1 mg/L+NAA 0.1-0.5 mg/L,and the most favourable medium for adventitious root induction was 1/2MS+NAA 0.1 mg/L+sucrose 20 g/L.Based on the above optimized mediums,a micropropagation system of Limonium franchetii was successfully developed.
