Abstract:
Taking round-eggplant as the test material,the effect of different thickness polyethylene (PE) film treatment on fresh-kepping effect of round-eggplant were studied,the appearance index,decay,firmness and weight loss were determined in order to find the optimum thickness of the PE film packaging processing during the normal temperature storage at 20℃.The results showed that with the extension of storage time,the appearance index,decay,firmness and weight loss gradually decreased.The decrease of quality caused commercial decline.The 0.06 mm PE film effectively inhibited the decrease of the appearance index,suppressed the occurrence and development of decay,delayed the loss of water,and maintained better firmness and appearance quality,which maintained better preservation.
