Abstract:
Six western pumpkin varieties were used as materials,the growth period,yield and disease resistance of them were investigated,and the fruit quality were determined.The results showed that,the low temperature tolerance and the low light tolerance of ‘Jinxiu’ were relatively strong.Furthermore,the first female flowers appeared in the section 4-5,the fruit setting was easy in the early spring temperature and low light conditions,the average setting fruit per plant reached 2 or more.Compared with the control,the yield increased of 15%.The results illustrated that ‘Jinxiu’ was suitable for planting in the local.
