Abstract:: The article collected the data of agricultural patents，plant variety rights，agricultural product geographical indications of Hebei Province from the patent database of the State Intellectual Property Office，the announcements of new plant variety right of Agricultural Department，and announcements of geographical indications product registration of Agricultural Department，State Administration of Quality Supervision and Inspection and State Administration for Industry and Commerce.Accordingly it analyzed the status of independent innovation capability of agricultural science and technology in Hebei Province from the angles of the output quantity，areas covered and the ownership of intellectual property rights.
