Abstract:
With complex structures,aloe polysaccharide was reported to be mainly composed of partially acetylated β-(1→4)-D-mannan and glucomannan structures,and a small amount of rhamnose,galactose,galacturonic acid,fucose,arabinose,xylose.The excellent moisturizing activity of aloe polysaccharide was exerted on the base of the natural moisturizing system of skin.Further studies will be required to find the relationship between the structure and moisturizing activity of aloe polysaccharide.A summary of research progress on the structure characterization and moisturizing activity of aloe polysaccharide at home and abroad was reviewed in this paper to provide a reference for its efficacy research and application.
