Abstract:: There are abundant wild plants of Rosaceae including 102 species 22 variants and 1 form of 26 genera in Qinghai Province.In this paper，floristic characteristics were analyzed，and the habitat and ornamental characteristics of 68 species 2 variant 1 form of 21 genera with high ornamental value were evaluated.The results showed that the geographic element of the flora was dominated by temperate element (80.8%).62 species and 1 variety and 1 form (within 17 genera) of woody plants had higher ornamental value.The results also showed that the leaf shapes of these plants were diversity，color of flower was predominant with white，red and yellow，and with white the most often ones.In terms of inflorescence types，there were solitary flowers and many inflorescence types.In terms of fruit types，there were follicle，pome，drupe ellipsoid and achene，and the fruit color had red，white，black，and yellow.Based on these information，and evaluated the landscape application of the main plant resources of Rosaceae in Qinghai Province.
