Abstract:
As the ecological crisis becomes more and more prominent，the question of human-nature relations has emerged as the focus of people’s attention and reflection.Thus，human ecological concerns towards nature have become an inescapable practical responsibility.However，there is ‘ecological wisdom’ in Chinese ancient philosophy，which could solve ecological problems.In this paper，the ‘ecological wisdom’ was introduced on the basis of its application cases in urban green space construction in ancient and modern times.In this study the problems existing in the contemporary urban green space planning and construction were summarized.Then，reasons were briefly analyzed，concerning why the traditional ‘ecological wisdom’ is not well applied in contemporary times.Finally，the prospects of the ecological wisdom’s application in contemporary urban green space construction were discussed.
