Abstract:
Using cinnamon soils as the representative of calcareous soil,the effect of oxalic acid,citric acid and phosphorus on calcium availability in soil/CaCO3 were studied.The results showed that adding low-molecular-weight organic acids promoted the release of phosphorus in soil;the activating ability of organic acids for phosphorus followed the order,oxalic acid>citric acid.Adding low-molecular-weight organic acids also could promote the calcium activation in soils;but the activating ability of organic acids for calcium followed the order,oxalic acid<citric acid.Adding phosphorus fertilizer significantly inhibited calcium activation in soil.Under the combined action of organic acid and phosphate fertilizer effectiveness calcium content increased in soil.The effect of exogenous organic acid and phosphorus on calcium in CaCO3 was similar with soil.Therefore,exogenous organic acids could increase phosphorus effectiveness by reducing the content of calcium element in soil solution
