Abstract:
Three genotypes of mini watermelon test tube plantlets were used to study the effect of explants types,hormone combinations,subculture and rooting culture on isolated organ regeneration with the method of the vitro culture.The results showed that the cotyledonary node was an ideal material for adventitious bud induction,when compared to cotyledon.The optimal hormone combination was different for the three genotypes,the optimal culture medium for W1 was MS+1.0 mg/L 6-BA+0.5 mg/L NAA,induction rate was 20.00%,for W2 was MS+3.0 mg/L 6-BA+0.5 mg/L NAA,induction rate reached 30.00%,for W3 wais MS+2.0 mg/L 6-BA+0.5 mg/L NAA induction rate reached 20.00%.The best rooting medium was MS+NAA 0.5 mg/L。
