Abstract:: Taking Cotinus coggygria Scop.as test material，original plant identification，morphological identification，microscopic identification，UV spectrometry identification were carried out.For the first time the pharmacognostical features of stems and leaves from Cotinus coggygria Scop.were systematically expounded.The results provided evidence for the identification as well as further exploitation and utilization of stems and leaves from Cotinus coggygria Scop.
