Abstract:
Taking 6 kinds of ornamental plants of Opuntia stricta,Rohdea japonica,Sansevieria trifasciata,Pachira macrocarpa,Cycas revoluta and Schefflera octophylla as materials,orthogonal design tests on the three factors of affecting force water-root (the matrix type,root level,hormone concentration) were studied,in order to optimize the conditions of root promoting for ornamental crops.The results showed that the optimum level of the matrix type,root level,and hormone concentration of the root systems’induction factors of the six plants were as follow: Pachira macrocarpa(sand;full-cut root;1 000 mg/kg),Cycas revoluta(sand;non-cut root;0 mg/kg);Schefflera octophylla(perlite or peat soil;full-cut root;1 000 mg/kg), Rohdea japonica(peat soil;root pruning 1/2,0 mg/kg),Sansevieria trifasciata (peat soil;root pruning 1/2;0 mg/kg,Opuntia stricta(sand;root pruning 1/2;1 000 mg/kg)。
