Abstract:
Taking Allium galanthum L. ?seeds as material,soaked by H2O2,KNO3 and H2SO4 at various concentrations respectively,effect of different chemical reagents and different soaking times on germination rate were studied.The results showed that,effect of different concentrations of chemical reagent was different on germination of Allium galanthum L. seed;increasing of concentration of H2O2 treatment had certain inhibitory action to the seed’s germination,there was a significant difference between the control and H2O2 treatment(P<0.01);KNO3 had the best effect on improving seed germination,especially,soaking 12 h,at 0.5% KNO3 had the best effect on the germination,which was higher than that of control(16.66%).The germination rate was significantly higher than control and other treatments.H2SO4 treatment had no significant effect on seed germination of Allium galanthum L. seeds.
