Abstract:
Gentianae macrophyllae,which belongs to Gentianaceae Gentiana L.,is a well-known traditional Chinese medicinal herb.It has been frequently used to treat rheumatism,deficiency-heat and ease pain.With the study of medicinal values progressing,the market demand of Gentianae macrophyllae has been increasing remarkably and the supply of high quality medicine could not meet the demand.The research advances of Section Cruciata Gaudin on germplasm resources,morphological characters,biological characteristics of seed,reproductive biology and effective constituent were reviewed in this paper,in order to provide references for further utilization of this medicine.
