Abstract:: Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages，the necessity of developing vegetable industry in the hilly areas of Sichuan was elaborated from the perspectives of adjusting the agricultural cropping structure，undertaking vegetable bases and promoting balancing urban and rural development.Then the strategies on developing modern vegetable industrialization were argued in the aspects of scale cropping，standardized production and marketing sale.
