Abstract:
Taking the seeds of wild Iris clarkei as test material,the effect of different germination conditions on the germination rate of seed of Iris clarkei were studied.The results showed that submergence temperature affected seed germination;dark environment,submergence in KMnO4 solution or exposure to IBA were conducive to seed germination;the prime temperature was 22℃ and fluctuation in temperature did not affect seed germination.In combination of these factors,and suggested that collected seeds were subjected to cold stress,then submerged to 45~65℃ KMnO4 solution or exposed to IBA at April or May of next year,finally placed in a dark environment of 22℃ to promote germination.
