Abstract:
Taking pollen of Platanus acerifolia as material,the effect of different sucrose and boric acid concentration on the pollen germination of Platanus acerifolia was studied,and then the effect of different storage temperature on pollen viability was analyzed.The results showed that pollen had the highest germination rate at the liquid medium with 15% sucrose and 0.10% boric acid.Storage temperature had a significant effect on pollen viability,with the reduction of storage temperature,the pollen viability risen and extended storage time.At normal temperature,all detected pollen loss viability after 10 days,but it had 24.65% viability when storage at -72℃ after 38 days.Moreover,the storage property of dry pollen was higher than fresh pollen.In conclusion,dry pollen and storage at -72℃ was favourable for preservation of Platanus acerifolia pollen.
