Abstract:
Taking Apocynum venetum as materials,POD activity,SOD activity and MDA content were studied under salinity,drought and low temperature conditions during different stress periods.The results showed that POD activity decreased after an initial increase under salinity,drought and low temperature conditions,so as SOD activity under salinity and drought stress.But SOD activity of Apocynum venetum decreased at first and then increased.MDA content was higher than control under salinity stress,but it was lower than control under drought and low temperature conditions except 24 h of drought and 48 h of low temperature.These results indicated that it was different of Apocynum venetum in response to salt,drought and cold stress.Salt stress made Apocynum venetum demaged most,the activity of enzyme declined,and active oxygen scavenging capacity decreased as well as cell membrane destroyed.
