Abstract:
Taking ‘Pingliang yam’ as material,eight different fertilization scheme were conducted to study the agronomic traits and yield performance of yam in northwest China semi-arid area.The results showed that the best treatment of balanced fertilization was OPT,no matter what kind of nutrient of nitrogen(N),phosphorus(P),potassium(K) deficient,could effect the yam tuber weight,then effect the population yield.All treatments with OPT had the highest yield,OPT-N,OPT-1/2N than OPT production rates were 33.19% and 28.79%,compared with the other treatments reduced obviously,in northwest China,N was the main factor limiting high yield cultivation of yam.
