Abstract:
Using three kinds of ACC deaminase bacteria and tomato seeds ‘Shenzhou Fenguan’ as experimental materials, tomato seeds were placed between the two sheets of filter to form a kind of sandwich pattern, and cultured them in the culture dishes which put at the angle of 0°and 90° between dishes and the water level for four days. The results indicated that the influence of tomato seedlings given was that there was a significant deviation on the seedlings’ root length and hypocotyl length between the direction-placing patterns in the check group, the 90° group was longer than the group 0° in two indexes, which were up to 42.8% and 58.8% respectively,it meant that not ignorable that gravity’s role in the tomato seedlings’ growth. In the 90° group, the ACC deaminase bacteria selected by us,with their suspension liquid before its germination and after it,showed the same results as former, thus it meant that the effect of promoting growth was independent on inoculation timing, and was correlative with ACC deminase activity of itself.
