Abstract:
Taking Allium mongolicum seed during the development 10 days to 40 days as materials,the dynamics of morphology and physiology and biochemical characteristics of them were studied,to provide the proof for harvest,and to find out its appropriate harvest period.The results showed that:the content of water of seeds and fruits,1 000grains weight of seeds declined with the increase of time during development.The color of seed capsule changed from taupe to black in 35~40 days during development.The seed could germination after 25 days during development,and the germination rate were about 16.67%~26.67%.The content of protein,starch,sugar,fat ant the activity of LOX increased,and the activity of SOD and CAT decreased at first then increased,but the activity of POD and the content of MDA increased at first then decreased.The physiology and biochemical changed little in 35~40 daysduring development.So the seeds of Allium-mongolicum could be harvested in 35~40 days of development.
