Abstract:
Taking tomato of ‘Liaoyuanduoli’ as material,nitrogen metabolism of the root under different rootzone aeration space treatments were studied.The results showed that the content of ammonium,nitrate,free amino acids and soluble protein of tomato root were higher under 20 cm arch height(T2) treatment.Therefore,rootzone aeration methods might significantly promote nitrogen metabolism and protein synthesis in the root,which might be one of the main reasons to increase the growth and development of tomato plant.
