- Abstract:
- Breeding of the new varieties of chiyan pepper series ‘Chiyan 270’，‘Chiyan No.16’，‘Chiyan No.18’ for protected cultivation were developed by using the germplasm resources at home and abroad.They were bred by crossing elite inbred line and had come through the new variety asserts in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The three varieties had high yield，high commodity rate，strong resistance，tolerance to storage and extensive adaptability.Through the demonstration of variety in many areas for many years，the planting area of application for ‘Chiyan’ series had reached 3 866.67 hm2 for early spring and over-summer cultivation in greenhouse in the north.
