Abstract:

ThepaperintendedtomakeasystematicresearchofalljournalpapersrelatedtodomesticandinternationalagricultureonChinaNationalKnowledgeInfrastructuredata(CNKI)from2008to2012bymeansofquantificationalanalysiswiththehelpofbibliometricsandstatisticalsoftware.Theanalysisandevaluationofallpapersweredoneintermsoftheirquantity,journallevels,locations,fundcategoriesandnetcommunicationimpact.Theresultsshowedthatfirstly,researchofChineseagriculturewasbetterthanthatofforeignagricultureforChinesescholarsintermsofquantity,highcitationfrequencyanddownloadfrequencyofpapers；secondly,paperswereprimarilypublishedingeneraljournals,withonlyasmallnumberofthempublishedinsomekeyjournals,evenlessinSCIandEIjournals；thirdly,accordingtothepapers,researchesofChineseagriculturewererelativelybalancedinfundamentalresearchandapplicationstudy,withslightlymorestressonbasicresearchinagriculture,whilethoseresearchesofforeignagricultureabsolutelyfocusedonagriculturaleconomy；fourthly,intermsofresearchlevel,domesticliteratureconcentratedonfundamentalresearch,withsmallproportionofpapersinvolvingprofessionalskillsandguidance,whileforeignliteraturefocusedonprofessionalguidance；fifthly,fromauthorgroup,mostauthorswerefrominstitutionsofhigherlearning；finally,intermsofcontentsofpapers,theyweremainlydiscussinglowcarbonagriculture,agriculturalenvironment,grainissues,villages,famersandagriculturalproductprice.
