Abstract:
In order to study the pollen xenia effect of wolfberry,total of 7 wolfberry cultivars pollen,‘Ningqi No.1’,‘Ningqi No.2’,‘Ningqi No.3’,‘Ningqi No.7’, ‘Damaye’, ‘Xiaomaye’,‘No.0901’,were used for pollinating 3 cultivars,‘Ningqi No.1’,‘Ningqi No.3’,‘Ningqi No.7’,self pollinated as control.Its effect on fruit-setting rate and characters were observed.The results showed that the 3 test cultivars all showed xenia effect,but the ‘Ningqi No.3’ exhibited significantly.The xenia effect obviously appeared on fruit-setting rate,fruit size,fruit weight,polysaccharide content,except on fruit shape index.
