Abstract:
Taking ‘Yuzhi’,‘Sufei’,‘Shenlv No.3’,‘Jinmei No.3’,‘Jinmei No.4’ as materials,five fruit cucumber cultivars were chosen to screen suitable fruit cucumber varieties in Ningxia,the botanical character,trade traits of fruit,quality and yield of cucumber through the stand culture technology were investigated.The results showed that taste of ‘Yuzhi’ was well,the internodal length was the shortest and the content of soluble sugar was the highest.The midplane of ‘Jinmei No.4’ was the biggest,taste was well,the stem length,stem diameter,leaves number and leaf areas were higher than others in the peak of growing season,the content of VC and yield were the highest.So ‘Jinmei No.4’ had the excellent quality and high yield,‘Yuzhi’ was white cucumber,the variety was vagary,so they could be introduced and pushed out as a feature breed for production.
