Abstract:
Taking the seedlings from the hybridize seeds of Cymbidium goeringii ‘Songmei’בJiyuan’ as test materials，the effects of basic medium，plant growth regulator，organic additives，and activated carbon concentration on the rooting rate of seedlings were studied,in order to solve the problem of the slow propagation speed in the traditional breeding methods of the Chinese orchid.The results showed that the most appropriate cultivating medium was MS.The plant growth regulator had a significant effect on rooting rate.The highest rooting rate was appeared on 3.0 mg/L NAA+0.1 mg/L 6-BA.The organic additives promoted the rooting rate of the seedlings.The activated carbon could improved the rooting rate and the best concentration was 3.0 g/L.
