Abstract:: Taking Clematis‘Duchess of Edinburgh’ as test material，the effects of different concentrations of two exogenous hormone GA₃ and PP₃₃₃on flowering of Clematis ‘Duchess of Edinburgh’ were studied.The results showed that GA₃ in different concentration gradient delayed flowering date of Clematis ‘Duchess of Edinburgh’.200 mg/L GA₃ delayed flowering 36 d，100 mg/L GA₃ delayed flowering 34 d，50 mg/L GA₃ delayed flowering 22 d.The effect of PP₃₃₃ on flowering date was not very obvious，200 mg/L PP₃₃₃delayed flowering 9 d，100 mg/L PP₃₃₃ delayed flowering 7 d，0 mg/L PP₃₃₃ had no effect on flowering date.The influence of two exogenoushormones on single flower opening time had no significant.A higher concentration of GA₃ reduced the average number of flowers，while higher PP₃₃₃ increased the average number of flowers.Both of two exogenous hormones decreased flowers’ average diameter and stalks’ average length，GA₃changed double flower of ‘Duchess of Edinburgh’ into single flower，these had certain impact on the quality of the flowers.
