Abstract:
With ‘Qingliuye’,‘Hongyuanyezi’,‘Taiwanlvye’,‘Baiyuanye’,‘Lvyuanye’,‘Hongyuanyehong’ six amaranth cultivars as materials,seedling raising disk method was used to produce sprout.The sprout plant height,stem diameter,fresh weight,leaf area per plant,Vitamin C content,reducing sugar content,protein content and other biological traits were analyzed.The results showed that ‘Taiwanlvye’ and ‘Lvyuanye’ had the highest fresh weight per one hundred plant,that were 0.510,0.482 g respectively.Amaranth sprout per hundred plant fresh weight had highly significant positive correlation with plant height,the correlation coefficient was 0.9539,the reducing sugar and VC content were significant negative correlation,the correlation coefficient was -0.4779.‘Taiwanlvye’ and ‘Lvyuanye’ had the highest amount of Vitamin C,for 4.34 mg/100gFW,‘Taiwanlvye’ leaf protein content was the highest,which was 80.37 mg/100g;‘Qingliuye’ reducing sugar content was the highest,which was 0.28 mg/100g.Comprehensive selection for production of sprout vegetables amaranth varieties,the varieties of ‘Taiwanlvye’ and ‘Qingliuye’ were the best.
