Abstract:
Taking one-year-old Magnolia wufengensis L.Y.Maet L.R.Wang seedlings as test material,the phenological observation and annual growth dynamics were studied.The results showed that seeds of M.wufengensis L.Y.Maet L.R.Wang had sprout into seedlings after two weeks since sown;the emergence period was long for 93 days.And winter buds were formed on the 189thday(in late October),when the growth of diameter stepped into the slow growth period.Until early December,leaves began to drop.Based on the Logistic curves,the growth curves of diameter and height were shown as ‘S’,though the rapid growth period of diameter(during days from the 50thto 189thsince sown) was longer than height(during days from the 84thto 150thsince sown),the first and second net increment for each 15 days were occurred from late July to late August.It was also found that shade environment was better for the seedling growth.
