Abstract:
Taking two main cultivars of watermelon ‘Ningnongke No1’ and ‘Jincheng No5’ at the fruit-set period from Ningxia grave-mulched field as materials,the photosynthetic rate and other influence factors,such as air temperature,blade temperature,PAR,Tr,Gs,Ci,WUE of leaves were studied,and the quality of fruit were determined after mature.The results showed that the diurnal variation of photosynthetic rate of ‘Jincheng No5’ had double peak curves and midday depression,while ‘Ningnongke No1’ presented one peak curve;and the content of total sugar of ‘Ningnongke No.1’was significantly higher than ‘Jincheng No5’.
