Abstract:
Taking M.pumila ‘Longfeng’, M.pumila ‘Longguan’,M.spectabilis‘Ⅰ’, M.spectabilis‘Ⅱ’,‘Fuji’ apple five different varieties 1-year-old dormant branches of apple as test materials,annual dormant branches from the changes of leakage ratio of electrolyte and the influence of the semi-lethal temperature(LT50) were investigated.The changes of leakage ratio of electrolyte of the branches which were treated under different artificial simulated low temperature were studied.The semi-lethal temperature (LT50) was obtained on the basis of conductivity and Logistic equation.The results showed that leakage ratio of electrolyte increased like ‘S’ curve concomitant with temperature reducing.The semi-lethal temperature for apple was from -36.4℃ to -44.7℃.The sequence of the cold resistance was M.pumila ‘Longfeng’ >M.spectabilis‘Ⅰ’>M.pumila ‘Longguan’>M.spectabilis‘Ⅱ’>‘Fuji’ Apple.
