Abstract:
‘Longqingchunfen’watermelonwasahybridvarietybredbyDaqingBranchofHeilongjiangAcademyofAgriculturalSciences.Ithadresistancetolowtemperatureandweaklight，andwassuitableforcultivatedincoldplasticcanopyinHeilongjiangProvinceinearlyspring；theperiodfromfertilizationtopickingofcommodityfruitcoveredabout35d；thefruitwasroundanddeepgreenfruitpeelwith16black-greenstripes.Fruitpowderwasdense，fruitnavelwassmall.Depthoffruitpeelwas0.6cmwithgoodtenacious，anditwassuitableforstorageandtransportation；pulpwaspinkandhard.Theweightwasabout1.5~2.2kgperfruitwith11%sugarcontentincentrepartand10%sugarcontentinedgepart.‘Longqingchunfen’hadgoodshapeandsmallseedandtastedwell.Theyieldwas3420kg/667m2bymeansofcoldplasticcanopyinearlyspring.
