Abstract:
Thepopulationdynamicsandcontroleffectof Bactroceradorsalis(Hendel)inHainancarambolaorchardwerestudiedfromJunetoSeptemberin2010.Themethodofmethyleugenoltrappingmaleadultsandproteinbaittrappingmaleandfemaleadultsofthepestwereused.TheresultsshowedthatthepeakoftheorientalfruitflyadultsappearedfrommiddletolateofJulyanditwasrelatedtothefirstfruitdevelopingperiodofcarambola.Therewasobviouslyapositivecorrelationbetweenpopulationdensityofthepestanddamagerateoffruits.ItindicatedthattheeffectofcontrollingB.dorsalisincarambolaorchardwassignificantlyusingthetechnologyoftrappingmaleandfemaleadultscombinedwithagriculturalmeasures,suchastreatmentofdropfruitsontime.Theprotectivefruitrateforthesecondharvesttimeofcarambolawas81.3%undertheconditionoffruitnotbaggedandnotusewithpesticides.
